Mammoth Empties Part 5: Hands, teeth and everything else

Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream – I’ve been using this for years and it was my favourite, until I tried Kiehls. That said, I’d still happily use this as it’s so good at keeping hands soft.

Kiehls’ Ultimate Strength Hand Salve – Already on my birthday list, please santa?! All time favourite hand cream.

Per Una Originale 10ml – My favourite non designer perfume ever, I’ve already got a huge stash of this but 10ml is way too small.

Tails Cosmopolitan* - Not a beauty related item but I had to include it as I got this in my goody bag at the #BrumBloggerMeet (link to post).

Colgate Sensitive Multi Protection – I have such sensitive teeth and I;ve tried everything under the sun to help. Can’t say this is a miracle worker but we can but try.

Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief – Better than the Sensitive Multi Protection one! I’ve got 4 mini tubes as you can see of this because I’m always getting them when I go to the dentist, for free! Can’t say fairer than that.

Colgate Total – It’s toothpaste, enough said.

And my toothbrush haha! Wisdom, although I’m really not fussy.

Mammoth Empties Part 4: Body care products

Veet Hair Minimising Body Moisturiser – A good everyday basic but I don’t think it made any difference to hair growth.

Vaseline Essential Moisture – Ideal for everyday if you just want to put it on and go.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me – My favourite shower gel and I swear it lasts at least 10 weeks.

Imperial Leather Precious Night Blooming Jasmine and Cotton Milk  Shower Cream – I loved the smell of this as jasmine is my favourite scent. Worked well and only cost a pound!

Sure Clear Aqua Crystal Roll On – No white marks! Not sure if I prefer roll on or spray but at least a roll on is smaller and easier to carry around.

Sure Crystal Clear Aqua Spray – Again, no white marks! Does the job very well.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter – I love this! All the nutty flavours are winners in my book and this is tropical and smells like sunscreen. That’s before I even get starte on the intense hydration these butters deliver.

NOTD Monday Manicure ELF Nail Polish Golden Goddess

ELF Nail Polish Golden Goddess available here

£2.50 for 10ml of nail polish? Madness!

Golden Goddess is a glitter topcoat infused with small glitter specks and medium hex pieces of holographic golden glitter. I tried this on over Ciate 3am Girl and got an unexpectedly great result.

The polish itself is fab as a topcoat. The glitter is evenly dispersed and you get a good coating of glitter all over rather than just a few random pieces.

Against this midnight blue colour, it reminded me of a starry night, ahhh.

Fab polish at a fab price.

Mammoth Empties Part 3: Face products

Soap & Glory Deep Pore Purifying T Zone Cleansing Cloths – A little too stinging for my skin but good at clearing off the grime.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 30ml – I can’t live without this! I’m still working out what to use around this product as this is pretty much the cornerstone of my evening routine. Already repurchased.

Clarins One Step Exfoliting Cleanser 5ml sample – Great mid range exfoliater. I’d probably buy a full sized product.

Clarins Pure and Radiant Masque 5ml sample – I haven’t used a clay mask since I was 13 and used a Body Shop one every week in a bit to combat hormonal skin. This is very gentle and I’d be happy to get the full sized product.

Clarins Daily Energizer Cream – Great to use on holiday but would prefer something more nourishing for everyday.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Make Up Remover – My favourite, I’m always repurchasing this and even after trying so many high end versions. I always come back to this.

NOTD Manicure Monday Ciate Paint Pot 3am Girl

Ciate Paint Pot 3am Girl available from here

Dark nail polish always looks chic. Gone are the days when you’d be ridiculed with goth girl jibes as black colours are now chic!

Onto the review, Ciate Paint Pots are really well known and weigh in at £9 for a 13.5ml bottle.

This shade is called 3am Girl (raunchy) and although it looks black in the bottle, is actually a very dark navy black shade. It’s incredibly similar to Nails Inc Convent Garden.

I’ve shown you what it looks like with 1 coat and as you can see it’s definitely a 2 coat polish! With one coat it is a little streaky and has more of a blue tone to it, which turns out more black with 2 coats.

This is a great colour and an interesting alternative to black. I got quite a few compliments on this too. It lasted really well, no chips for around 5 days which is pretty good going.

Overall I’m loving Ciate and will keep adding to the collection!

Clothes Haul: Primark, Dune, M&S, H&M shoes, clothes and bags

Top Earrings Skirt - Primark / Boots - Dune

Dress and skirt - H&M / Boucle jacket - Marks and Spencer

Here’s a little collective haul for you guys.  As you can see I’ve been (relatively) well behaved and tend to just pick up a few key pieces when I go shopping.

First up this little lot from Primark and Dune. I’ve been drooling over these Dune Pantheon studded boots since Christmas and finally got hold of them in the sale about 8 weeks ago. I’ve worn them constantly and they’re so comfortable, and also happen to go with the studded bag I just bought. The loose blue top was £4 from Primark and is meant to go under blazers for work, whilst the long navy skirt was just £8 from Primark and is subtly sexy wit it’s side split. The little resin flower and diamante gem earrings were a steal at £2 but I’m yet to find the perfect outfit to go with them.

I couldn’t resist this Karl Lagerfeld pug bag! I adore it and use it as my laptop bag. The black studded barrel bag was from H&M and I’m using it as my everyday bag (goes to well with the boots). The black bow clutch was a bargain at £5 in H&M and the pastel pink enamel bangle was from Primark.

Lastly is this little lot from H&M and M&S. As you know, I love a bit of Chanel inspired boucle and I bought another tweed boucle jacket in navy from M&S as an alternative to my cream one. The black lace dress and the flippy black jersey skirt are both workwear staples too.

So that’s it! Well behaved I’d say. How about you guys? Are you spending or saving at the moment?
