Pastel Coat OOTD ft New Look, Topshop and Matalan

Coat - New Look // Top - Topshop // Jeans - Matalan // Heels - Fiore //

As you know, I rarely do an outfit post, but I wanted to share this gorgeous coat with you! The weather has been pretty cold lately and although we're all hoping for Spring, a coat is still a necessity.

I picked this pastel blue number up from New Look and it's really helped me break out of darker clothes into lighter colours.

Excuse the poor picture quality and weird epxression!

Summer Holiday Outfits - Part 1

It's that time of year again; summer holidays. I've already had my summer holiday but I thought it would be a good idea to share my holiday outfits with you in a mini series.

I took some pictures of my holiday outfits once I got back to the UK so I could show you exactly what I wore, and I'm a little more tanned in these pictures than usual!

It can be really difficult shopping for summer holidays as you don't want to just wear shorts and t shirts, but want to relax too, so I've tried to put together some really easy to wear outfits.

Here's my first summer holiday outfit, and to start, it's an evening look!

Tribal skirt; Primark, Oversized grey t shirt; Primark, Triangle Necklace; Primark, Black strappy heels; Matalan, Sunglasses; D&G

The tribal skirt is a real statement piece that actually features a lot of metal sequins and beads, so to dress it down I added a super casual oversized grey t shirt. To keep it suitable for evening I added plain black strappy heels that and a gold triangle necklace. This look would also work with flat sandals. The black heels are so versatile, I packed something plain on purpose to save space in the suitcase and make sure I could get away with one pair of heels for the duration of the trip.

The entire outfit is budget friendly (my holiday clothes always seem to get ruined from being washed abroad!) and all of these pieces can be worn back in England and I've worn the heels loads since I got back.

Stay tuned for part 2!

Outfit Post: Shiny leggings and a horse print shirt

Matalan shirt / Primark leggings / Select flatform shoes

What’s this I see? An outfit post? I’m so bad at doing outfit posts. I’m quite good at remembering to take the pictures but getting the posts up is a different story.

Anyway, onto the post. I’ve had this shirt for a while and only just got round to wearing it. Originally I photographed it with black skinny jeans but I ended up pairing it with my shiny Primark leggings and new black velour flatforms from Select. The outfit was a bargain and came to under £50 for the shirt, leggings and shoes.

This is such a versatile outfit that I wore for dinner, drinks and shopping in the daytime and got a few compliments for the shirt even. I love the print, it’s got little horses all over it!

Do you like this background? Colourful!

New Look Outfit – Slouchy and Stretchy

Jumper and skirt - New Look / Pony Hair Loafers - Matalan

Here’s a super quick outfit post for you guys! I was playing around with a few pieces from my latest hauls and came up with this easy outfit. This thin knit jumper is in most wardrobes, but rather than pairing it with jeans, why not try it with a body con mini skirt instead? This one was just £3 in the sale! The combination of grey and oxblood is a bit different and goes really well.

The loafers have faux pony hair all over, how cute! I love these and have literally worn them out already.

I’d definitely pair this whole ensemble with a sparkly necklace to jazz it up, Dorothy Perkins have some gorgeous diamante designs in at the moment.

Neon jewellery and a buckle up bangle

Neon yellow earrings / Silver belt buckle bangle / Neon pink earrings / All H&M

Guess what time it is? It’s jewellery haul time! I keep doing this, running into the high street and running back out with armfuls of jewellery. I don’t know what it is but I just keep buying jewellery! Maybe it’s because everyone knows jewellery is the quickest and easiest way to liven up an outfit. Or perhaps it’s because jewellery always fits.

Anyway, I’ll start off with my favourites. This little lot from H&M have been an absolute outfit saviour. I love neon jewellery and already have the matching pink fluoro necklace. The yellow and pink fluoro earrings are so fun and great for doing colour clash or against a plain grey t shirt (one of my favourite looks that I’ll be wearing with printed trousers this summer).

The silver buckle bangle is a concession to my lust for this Mulberry bangle. In the absence of funds, this little number will have to do.

Peacock Scarf - Matalan / Triangle ring, jade necklace, peace necklace - Dorothy Perkins / Black stone ring and gold star necklace - Primark

The next bunch are something of an odd assortment of pieces. This peacock scarf is so reminiscent of Matthew Williamson but was from Matalan. The rest of the jewellery includes a lucky jade necklace, a gold triangle ring and a double layered chain necklace from Dorothy Perkins. The star necklace and oversized black stone ring are from Primark, my favourite place for a pick me up.

Do any of you guys rely on jewellery for a fast fashion hit?
