An Oasis Outfit with a touch of Kim K

It's been a while since I did an outfit post so sorry this is long overdue! Here's a really simple outfit I styled from Oasis that I wore for a meal and drinks out with the girls.

Blue shirt // Oasis // Black leather effect skirt // Oasis // Black kitten heel pointed courts // Marks and Spencer // Gold lion chain necklace // New Look

Apologies for the lack of accessory close ups and weird lighting but we were running late as it was so this is all we managed to get before the obligatory 'where are you?' text...

As it happens, the clothes are all from Oasis, the shoes are from Marks and Spencer and necklace is New Look. Shame you can't see the necklace as it's a chunky gold chain with lion discs!

The whole outfit feels a little Kim Kardashian to me, mainly due to the tight leather effect pencil skirt, but I love it with this loose blue blouse and think it would look equally great styled down with a casual jumper.

New Look Outfit – Slouchy and Stretchy

Jumper and skirt - New Look / Pony Hair Loafers - Matalan

Here’s a super quick outfit post for you guys! I was playing around with a few pieces from my latest hauls and came up with this easy outfit. This thin knit jumper is in most wardrobes, but rather than pairing it with jeans, why not try it with a body con mini skirt instead? This one was just £3 in the sale! The combination of grey and oxblood is a bit different and goes really well.

The loafers have faux pony hair all over, how cute! I love these and have literally worn them out already.

I’d definitely pair this whole ensemble with a sparkly necklace to jazz it up, Dorothy Perkins have some gorgeous diamante designs in at the moment.

Oasis Outfit – 1950’s Secretary Style

Sequin jumper // Stretch pencil skirt / Oasis

Here’s an outfit idea for anyone who needs to stick to an office dress code but wants to look chic and stylish too.

A slim fit knit and fitted pencil skirt are great for keeping warm in an office whilst sticking to office friendly black. The sequin detail might be a bit much if you work in a law firm for example but you could always go for something plain. I picked up both of these in Oasis and you could wear each piece separately (the knit is great for weekends too!). Just throw on a patent belt (one with a bow in the centre would be super cute) and some pointy kitten heels and you’re good to go!

What’s your office dress code like?

Outfit post: All black and a studded clutch

A super quick outfit post for you guys. I know I promised to do more this year so here's a start. I need to hit the gym so it’s back to fail safe black at the moment. I picked up this dress from Asda for less than the price of a bottle of wine and it’s great for keeping warm in the chilly British winter. The heels were from M&S and are a great classic court shape. The black studded clutch bag is a blogger favourite, except this is the bargain version from Primark!

A little boring I know but sometimes a girl’s got to keep warm!

Is black your fail safe too?

Black wedge heels and a zebra t shirt

New Look T shirt, Primark Leggings, Office Wedges

Don’t you just love it when an outfit comes together? These are all pieces that I purchased separately but they came together in such a way that you’d think I planned it.

Starting with the T Shirt, it somehow reminds me of Givenchy’s famous panther t shirt and is a great relaxed but cool item for any wardrobe with it’s cut off sleeves.

The leggings are somewhere in between wet look and matt and a Primark bargain!

Last but not least, I was searching for these Office November wedges for ages. When I tried them on it the shop I couldn’t believe how comfortable they were. I hope that they’re not too uncomfortable to wear for a few hours because I just love them! I don’t know what else they’d go with to be honest so any advice would be welcomed!

I can’t wait to wear this outfit but you’ll just have to wait until I’ve lost a little bit of weight first J

What would you wear these black wedge boots with?
