Mother's Day Mum in a Million Competition with Parkdean

With Mother's Day fast approaching, it's time we take a minute to think about mum and how much they do for us.

When we're younger, our mums are there to help us get ready for school, feed us, pack our sports kit and pick us up at the end of the day.

As we get older, we might become more independent and learn to look after ourselves, but mum is always there in the background checking up on us, making sure we've eaten right and gone to our appointments on time.

That's one of the things that makes my mum a mum in a million. Whenever I call I know she'll be on the other end of the phone ready to listen and offer advice. She works tirelessly to keep an eye on the family, look after us and make sure we're fed, all without asking for anything in return. If I'm busy she's always helping out, whether it's running to the post office or picking up a magazine for me. I know my mum is a superstar and I'm sure your mum is too!

Chic and Seek Competition Win

You might have seen on Twitter that I was the very lucky winner of a competition held by Chic and Seek. If you haven’t heard, Chic and Seek is on online store selling high end, pre owned accessories from the likes of Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Celine, Dior and more. It’s one of my favourite websites to visit just to look at the beautiful and unusual items are always being added. I’ve long lusted after the rare Hermes Birkin and classic Chanel bags that are brought into her beautiful mews house in Notting Hill by well heeled London ladies.

I knew that I’d won a voucher to spend on the site but I didn’t realise I was also in for a few more treats! Inside the very small but perfectly formed box that arrived on my doorstep was a lovely mini bottle of pink champagne in a cute neoprene wetsuit type sleeve, a pink Chic and Seek hardback cover notebook, a mini bag of pink sweets, love hearts, an invitation to visit the house itself (Tara I’m so there the next time I’m down in London!) and of course my voucher, all tied up in pink ribbon and tissue and presented in a lovely little bag and box.

Thank you so much to everyone at Chic and Seek, it was so thoughtfully put together and I can’t wait to pick a perfect piece of pre owned fashion. Let me know when the Chanel handbags come in!

Room 31 and Fashion Floozy Competition Win!

The lovely Christine at Fashion Floozy was running a competition with Room 31 last week, and guess what? I won it!!!

It was super easy to enter, I took a peek at Room 31’s gorgeous range of clothes, shoes and accessories, picked my favourite (now that was the hardest part!), subscribed to Fashion Floozy by email and left a comment on this blogpost as well as on the Room 31 blog. 

And that was it! The next thing I knew, I’d been mentioned on Twitter a few times as the lovely peeps from Room 31 and Christine from Fashion Floozy tried to get in touch.

I couldn’t believe it, but look, here’s the proof that I won!
