New Year's Eve 2015- Don't forget to shimmer!

After all the excess of Christmas, it's time for one last party before it's back to reality.

I've put together a shimmering outfit which would be perfect for a New Year's party.

The shoes are Valentino Rockstuds available here. I adore these and they were the most expensive part of the outfit. The skirt is from Oasis but has since sold out, sorry!

As for accessories, a smart black clutch such as this one from Whistles keeps it minimal, and you could even add silver mirrored sunglasses.

A gem necklace is the finishing touch, along with a manicure of course.

Wishing you all a fabulous New Year, see you in 2016!

Summer Holiday Outfit Part 3: Summer Stripes and Nautical Vibes

Who shies away from stripes? I do! However, we all know summer dressing is about fun and sometimes the rules go out the window, in a good way.

This summer, I ended up wearing two outfits featuring stripes, one in white and red, another in the classic combination of navy and white.

Navy and white is the only combination I would ever usually consider wearing and it was great to break out of my comfort zone and try out the white and red combo in the sunshine, which ended up being my favourite outfit teamed with a classic denim jacket.

Have any of you guys been wearing stripes this summer?

March Clothes Haul ft Primark, Oasis and New Look

One of my new years resolutions was to stop buying anything unnecessary and focus on buying just a few key pieces to keep my wardrobe looking current. I don't know about you but I just seem to accumulate stuff!

I've been really sticking to this and my Primark hauls are definitely a lot smaller than they used to be! However, a girl needs to shop every once in a while so here are a few of the essentials I've picked up in the last few weeks.

Here's a collection of the accessories I've been purchasing. The massive black bag is from Primark and was a steal at £12! I bought this for my holiday in May to use as hand luggage but I've got a sneaky feeling this is going to be too big!

I've been searching a gold triangle/bunting necklace for ages and managed to find 2 in Primark at just £3 each. One is in peach and one is just gold so I may return one of them in keeping with my resolution.

I haven't used the giant hair bun but these are always great on bad hair days.

I am in love with the black heels! They're from Marks and Spencer and a very easy to wear mid-heel in a classic point shape. I've worn them a few times and they've just perfect for work or casual wear; perfection!

New Look has really upped their dress game lately and I can't seem to stop buying them! These are both black tunic style dresses with a twist. The first has a gorgeous maroon coloured top section whilst the second has an unusual drop waist and I'll be wearing this one for work.

Hello leather skirt! I've already got a flippy leather effect skirt from Oasis, but I fell in love with this pencil style as soon as I saw it. Paired with this electric blue blouse and the Marks & Spencer heels, that's an instant outfit right there.

Every girl needs a leather jacket, and whilst I still haven't found the perfect real leather jacket, this faux version will do just fine. Another Oasis find, this has a real biker feel to it with it's round neck collar and full length zip. It also has an elasticated arm which makes it really comfortable and a great fit.

Last but not least, some stripey PJ's! Another Primark find, these are so cute and they had a few different designs too.

What have you been buying this month?

Oasis Outfit – 1950’s Secretary Style

Sequin jumper // Stretch pencil skirt / Oasis

Here’s an outfit idea for anyone who needs to stick to an office dress code but wants to look chic and stylish too.

A slim fit knit and fitted pencil skirt are great for keeping warm in an office whilst sticking to office friendly black. The sequin detail might be a bit much if you work in a law firm for example but you could always go for something plain. I picked up both of these in Oasis and you could wear each piece separately (the knit is great for weekends too!). Just throw on a patent belt (one with a bow in the centre would be super cute) and some pointy kitten heels and you’re good to go!

What’s your office dress code like?

Huge jewellery haul plus dresses and pumps

I love jewellery and like most girls, I can never have enough! So when I saw all this gorgeous jewellery on sale I couldn’t resist. I bought so much that it wouldn't even fit in one picture.

First up is this little lot from Miss Selfridge, a gold Hamsa hand ring for £2, duckie necklace and set of 3 rings with matching earrings for just £3!

Next is this haul from Dorothy Perkins. I got to complete the Hamsa hand set with the bracelet and earrings, pick up these peace hope and love string bracelets, Eiffel tower necklace, bow earrings, rabbit ring and another set of 3 matching rings and earrings.

But a girl can’t survive on jewellery alone! I also got this stunning black dress from Oasis. It looks really expensive and is so well cut to skim right out from the waist. I’ve been wearing this loads for work. To go with it I got a few pairs of shoes from Primark and George, boring but some tights from Primark (love my 60 deniers!), and here’s the last piece of jewellery which is three pairs of studs for £4 from Oasis.

I got another dress from Primark in my signature skater/1950’s style but this time, it’s boucle, grey and sparkly. I wore this quite a lot over Christmas!!

Finally it’s a Christmas jumper! Check out this lovely cream ski jumper from Primark, love it!
