March Clothes Haul ft Primark, Oasis and New Look

One of my new years resolutions was to stop buying anything unnecessary and focus on buying just a few key pieces to keep my wardrobe looking current. I don't know about you but I just seem to accumulate stuff!

I've been really sticking to this and my Primark hauls are definitely a lot smaller than they used to be! However, a girl needs to shop every once in a while so here are a few of the essentials I've picked up in the last few weeks.

Here's a collection of the accessories I've been purchasing. The massive black bag is from Primark and was a steal at £12! I bought this for my holiday in May to use as hand luggage but I've got a sneaky feeling this is going to be too big!

I've been searching a gold triangle/bunting necklace for ages and managed to find 2 in Primark at just £3 each. One is in peach and one is just gold so I may return one of them in keeping with my resolution.

I haven't used the giant hair bun but these are always great on bad hair days.

I am in love with the black heels! They're from Marks and Spencer and a very easy to wear mid-heel in a classic point shape. I've worn them a few times and they've just perfect for work or casual wear; perfection!

New Look has really upped their dress game lately and I can't seem to stop buying them! These are both black tunic style dresses with a twist. The first has a gorgeous maroon coloured top section whilst the second has an unusual drop waist and I'll be wearing this one for work.

Hello leather skirt! I've already got a flippy leather effect skirt from Oasis, but I fell in love with this pencil style as soon as I saw it. Paired with this electric blue blouse and the Marks & Spencer heels, that's an instant outfit right there.

Every girl needs a leather jacket, and whilst I still haven't found the perfect real leather jacket, this faux version will do just fine. Another Oasis find, this has a real biker feel to it with it's round neck collar and full length zip. It also has an elasticated arm which makes it really comfortable and a great fit.

Last but not least, some stripey PJ's! Another Primark find, these are so cute and they had a few different designs too.

What have you been buying this month?

Clothes Haul: Primark, Dune, M&S, H&M shoes, clothes and bags

Top Earrings Skirt - Primark / Boots - Dune

Dress and skirt - H&M / Boucle jacket - Marks and Spencer

Here’s a little collective haul for you guys.  As you can see I’ve been (relatively) well behaved and tend to just pick up a few key pieces when I go shopping.

First up this little lot from Primark and Dune. I’ve been drooling over these Dune Pantheon studded boots since Christmas and finally got hold of them in the sale about 8 weeks ago. I’ve worn them constantly and they’re so comfortable, and also happen to go with the studded bag I just bought. The loose blue top was £4 from Primark and is meant to go under blazers for work, whilst the long navy skirt was just £8 from Primark and is subtly sexy wit it’s side split. The little resin flower and diamante gem earrings were a steal at £2 but I’m yet to find the perfect outfit to go with them.

I couldn’t resist this Karl Lagerfeld pug bag! I adore it and use it as my laptop bag. The black studded barrel bag was from H&M and I’m using it as my everyday bag (goes to well with the boots). The black bow clutch was a bargain at £5 in H&M and the pastel pink enamel bangle was from Primark.

Lastly is this little lot from H&M and M&S. As you know, I love a bit of Chanel inspired boucle and I bought another tweed boucle jacket in navy from M&S as an alternative to my cream one. The black lace dress and the flippy black jersey skirt are both workwear staples too.

So that’s it! Well behaved I’d say. How about you guys? Are you spending or saving at the moment?

H and M Basics and Neon Earrings Haul

Everybody needs a few basics in their wardrobe. Whether it’s that perfect pair of skinny jeans or go anywhere black blazer, they’re the backbone of every good look.

The T Shirt has got to be the king of wardrobe staples.  It has to be plain, for me a loose fit makes it easy to wear, whilst a detail like a pocket or zip makes it a little more interesting.

These ones from H&M fit the bill perfectly. Slouchy, not too thick to make them heavy but not so thin as to be see through. They’re so good I bought them in black, grey and navy.

The flirty black and white polka dot skirt are also from H&M and were a steal!

The navy blue TOMS style pumps were from an independent store and I thought they'd go really well with the t shirt and skirt as a super casual outfit.

As for the silver buckle bracelet, I just couldn't help myself, especially as I've been lusting after this one from Mulberry!

The harem pants are not such an essential, but at £7.99 I thought I’d give them a go, just as soon as I can figure out what to wear them with. Maybe a pair of high top trainers.

Onto the best part, these neon earrings! I have such a neon jewellery obsession at the moment, I love how it instantly picks up an outfit and drags it into fashion territory. I’ll be doing my best Pat Butcher impression with these.

What are your wardrobe staples?

Matalan Shopping Haul

It’s been a while since I did a clothes haul post, not because I haven’t been shopping but because I keep taking the pictures and then forgetting to write up a post! Anyway, I did a spot of shopping the other day on a very rare day off and it ended up being a pretty successful day! Lots of classics which I think I’ll wear for a while but I still want a few trendy pieces to liven up my wardrobe. I’ll do a separate post on these soon.

First stop was Matalan for a change as I usually head straight to Primark! I was really lucky they had some nice pieces so here they are. I found two pairs of black pumps, some bargain jewellery, a black skater dress and a winter Nordic ski jumper as well as some jewellery bits.

The pumps are both black, the first pair is an embellished ballet pump (£12), the second a pair of slip on loafers but in a pony hair (£10)!

Picked up some boring tights (yawn but it’s an essential) and check out all this jewellery! 4 pairs of earrings for £1 which I bought just for the gold horseshoes earrings, a pair of brushed gold dove bird stud earrings, a gold coin necklace similar to the one Holly Willoughby wears all the time and this gorgeous vintage look enamel A initial double strand pendant.

The black skater dress is plain but perfect! It’s the style of dress that I wear most and that suits me the most and it also has an exposed zip at the back.

Last but not least is this cosy cream Nordic ski jumper. It’s quite a long style which I’ll be wearing loads no doubt in winter; don’t you always find your wardrobe full of short sleeved tops and never any jumpers?!!

Have you guys got your jumpers out yet?!
